    WHEN DO YOU CONTACT ROOMS TO GO CUSTOMER CARE?

    IF YOUR CLAIM IS RELATED TO EITHER:


    (A) a manufacturer defect and you received delivery less than one (1) year ago

    (B) your merchandise was damaged upon delivery

    WHEN DO YOU CONTACT FORTEGRA?                                       

    IF YOUR CLAIM IS RELATED TO EITHER:


    A) a manufacturer defect that is covered by your Guard It Furniture Protection Plan, and you received delivery more than one (1) year ago


    - or -


    B) accidental damage that is covered by your Guard It Furniture Protection Plan

    THINGS TO KNOW WHEN FILING A FORTEGRA CLAIM:


    A. When you contact Fortegra, you should be prepared to describe the incident, including when and how it occurred, the size of the stain or damage and its location. A photo may be requested to better assist with your service.


    B. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN OR CALL A TECHNICIAN - Unauthorized cleaning/repairs may void coverage.


    C. If Fortegra authorizes service for your claim, you will receive a Unique Authorization Number for each item within your claim and instructions for how to proceed.


    D. If your claim requires a visit by a service technician, you will need to contact Rooms To Go at 1-800-766-6786 to schedule an appointment. Rooms To Go will ask for your Authorization Number and will schedule a service technician to visit your home.


    E. If your service is scheduled, a service technician will come to your home to provide one of the following services:

    • Cleaning for covered accidental stains;
    • Repair for covered accidental damages; or
    • Repair for authorized manufacturer defects.

    F. If your merchandise cannot be cleaned or repaired, Fortegra will determine next steps, which may include replacement parts or full replacement of the applicable merchandise - or a reselection.
